Since its opening in 1997, Glacier Bay’s Bear Track Inn has become a distinguished and popular destination for Alaskan tourism. Known for our excellent accommodations and located in a majestic and picturesque place, the Bear Track Inn offers a wide variety of excursions for those looking for a true Alaskan adventure.

Our lodge features hand-crafted log construction with fourteen rooms, each with two queen-size beds, as well as a private bathroom. We also have two handicap accessible rooms. While not on excursions, spend your evenings in the lobby, cozied up to our hand-crafted fire place and your choice of  a locally brewed beer or wine from our exceptional list.

For dinner, choose from three to five entrees, all which may include fresh Alaskan seafood or game. Choose from an assortment of Halibut, Ivory King Salmon, Sable, or Dungeness crab. Or, choose caribou, duck, steak, pork, chicken, or even vegetarian plates with ingredients grown from our garden. Each meal is served with soups made from scratch, homemade breads, and salads with house made dressings.

Experience the mesmerizing landscapes of Glacier Bay while fishing, hiking, or simply relaxing by a handcrafted fireplace. Activities can be booked for a trip to see the glaciers, whale watching and wildlife viewing, kayaking with humpback whales, bear viewing, or even to see surrounding historical cities that South East Alaska has to offer.
